I completely hear where you are coming from. I am wrapping up my forth year, and I also am beginning to feel that weariness set in. One of its cause is indeed due to more and more time needing to be spent focused on disciple, partly due to class size, also due to leadership issues and consistent rules/ disciple by the administration.

Your line, "the type of teacher who will do a better job just because they’re paid more may not be the type of teacher you actually need" really struck home for me. In my experience those who are good at teaching are so because of internal drive and motivation. Something, that is there with or without monetary reward.

I don't think there's anyone who would be upset about doing their job for more compensation; however, I too would much prefer being provided the tools and time that would allow me to continue to teach with the passion and enthusiasm I bring without seemingly having my life force drained at times.

This is not necessarily a comment as such but rather a personal message to David

It's so nice to know that others see through the corrupt presentation that the government presents to the public as being - to our advantage/ in our best interests/ for our good etc
We are fast losing our country in many ways.
We once led the world in, standard of living and in racial equality equal to none. I remember when world leaders would visit here to study our success. That was a long time ago.
There is a reason for our deterioration but that’s to controversial for the brainwashed public of today.
Please keep up the writing I enjoy and appreciate reading your opinion.

You may perhaps have found that a Google lookup result now reveals the native map on the most suitable facet and the community listings (aka as Google Locations at Google) are half of the organic research benefits.
I agree David. I am enjoying seeing the emergence of a leader who actually stands for something (if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything, as the saying goes). On our visit to Northland last year, it was devastating to see how successive government policies have literally left the region 'closed for business', and the poverty left us feeling like Northland has been forgotten about. So it's not surprising that Hone knows what he's talking about, and he has a lot of support there as a result of staying in touch with his people. Watch this space, I would say.
